Non-Surgical Under-Eye Correction

Shadows under the eyes that don't fade with sleep.

Concealer can only hide so much.
Changing the structure beneath is what changes how you look.

PROBLEM

That tired look
it starts in the under-eye structure.

You sleep well, but people still say you look tired.
The under-eye is the thinnest, most structurally fragile area on the face.
Hollows, dark circles, fine lines
these three combine to define most of how you read.

  • Hollow under-eyes

With age, the orbital fat pad atrophies and orbital septum support weakens, creating a depression beneath the eye. The tear trough deepens and casts shadow.

  • Dark circles

Under-eye skin is only ~0.5mm thick, so the orbicularis muscle and vessels show through. Combined with melanin deposition and microvascular congestion, pigmented and vascular dark circles appear together.

  • Under-eye lines

Loss of dermal collagen/elastin and repeated orbicularis contraction form fine lines. Reduced epidermal moisture retention makes them more visible.

  • Tired look

When the three changes above happen together, a tired appearance becomes fixed regardless of actual condition. Because the cause isn't singular, the approach must be combined.

The limits of existing approaches

Concealing every day, surgery feels too much, filler alone looks unnatural.
The under-eye is the thinnest, most sensitive area — precision is essential.

  • Concealer cover-up

    Eye Correction key point 1

Reapplying every day isn't a real solution. By afternoon it creases, and the hollow still shows.

  • Surgical approach

    Eye Correction key point 2

Lower blepharoplasty is effective, but the recovery time, bruising, and swelling are heavy. Not every under-eye needs surgery.

  • Filler injection alone

    Eye Correction key point 3

The wrong filler choice or technique can cause the Tyndall effect (filler showing through the skin). Standard fillers don't belong under the eyes.

Why a Board-Certified Dermatologist?

Of approximately 140,000 physicians in Korea, only about 2,900 are board-certified dermatologists.
Just 2% of all physicians hold this qualification.

Medical school 6 years + internship 1 year + dermatology residency 4 years
11 years to become a board-certified dermatologist.

  • Anatomical Expertise

Safe treatment requires precise understanding of facial nerves, vessels, and muscle structure. Dermatology residents acquire this through 4 years of formal training.

  • Adverse Event Response

The judgment to respond instantly to an unexpected reaction is built only through dermatology residency training.

  • Differential Diagnosis

The same symptom can have different causes. A board-certified dermatologist screens for underlying disease before any cosmetic procedure, building a safe plan from the start.

    Eye Rejuran · Polynucleotide

Rejuran is a tissue-repair biomaterial of polynucleotide (PN) origin, manufactured via Pharma Research's patented DOT (DNA Optimizing Technology) process (Class IV, MFDS Approval No. Heo 14-825). PN fragments extracted from salmon DNA — ~97% similar to human DNA base composition — act as a dermal scaffold, contributing to tissue regeneration and dermal density. For the periocular area, Rejuran HB plus (with bonded hyaluronic acid) is primarily used. A 28-week clinical study in 23 subjects reported improvements in lateral canthal lines (LCL), safety, and dermal density/roughness.

    G.O.U.R.I · Liquid PCL

Gouri (G.O.U.R.I) is a fully liquid polycaprolactone (PCL) collagen stimulator developed with the globally patented CESABP technology. Particle-free, it spreads evenly across the dermis and subcutaneous fat. In animal studies (UVB photoaging model), dermal thickness increased by over 30% and Type 1 collagen gene expression rose more than fourfold. CE-certified in 2021 and exported to 50+ countries, it's MFDS-approved for temporary improvement of periocular wrinkles in adults — directly applicable to under-eye care.
